Homemade Laundry Detergent
A few store bought ingredients that you can combine to make a non toxic laundry detergent
Equipment
- Grater
- bowl
- ⅛ measuring cup
- Container with lid
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Borax
- 2 Cups Washing Soda
- 1 bar Laundry Soap
Instructions
- Grate bar soap and ensure it is well crumbled after grating.
- Put grated soap in bowl.
- Add 2 cups borax and 2 cups washing soda to bowl
- Mix well
- Put resulting product into a container with lid.
- Now you can wash your laundry. Use ⅛ cup scoop for a small load and increase amount as needed.
- During rinse cycle you can add essential oils for scent with ½ cup vinegar as a fabric softener.
